faceless.video is built for short-form channels that run themselves. Its homepage offers to "Create Faceless Accounts in One Click" and describes "AI Agents for Running a Faceless Channel": it makes short videos and posts them to YouTube and other social platforms automatically, or lets you review them first. Plans run from $20 a month (30 credits, up to 15 videos) to $149 (350 credits, up to 175 videos), with a free trial, and unused credits stay in your balance (faceless.video, checked 2026-10-29).
If that is what you want, it is a coherent product. This page is for a different creator: one who wants long YouTube videos with chapters, from a script they approve, and who sees a channel as something authored rather than automated. Here are seven alternatives, including our own product, Heady. Every fact about another product was checked on 2026-10-29 against the sources at the end.
How we chose
We included hosted tools that make narrated faceless videos and could replace faceless.video for a YouTube channel. We favoured tools that make long videos or let you review the script, and noted where a tool is short-form first. We left out clipping tools and plain editors. Heady is first because it is ours, not because of a ranking; read its entry with that in mind. The others are in no particular order.
Heady
Good for: long YouTube videos with chapters, from a script you approve.
We make Heady, and it isn't open yet. Heady drafts the script from your topic, as an outline in chapters and then every line, and you edit and approve it, and the credit price, before anything renders. Long videos run 8 to 30 minutes in 16:9 on Pro and Studio, with chapter cards, a progress bar with chapter marks, lower thirds and an end card; Shorts run up to 2 minutes in 9:16 on every plan. Every scene in a chapter is drawn from the same reference image, so characters, places and style stay consistent. Every video comes with word-by-word captions, an SRT file, 3 thumbnail options, and a title, description and tags, with the chapter timestamps already in the description. A 10-minute video is 60 credits, which works out to $6.47 on Pro ($69 a month) when you use all your credits (what each video costs).
Watch for: Heady isn't open yet. You download the video and upload it yourself; direct upload is on the roadmap. There is no voice cloning, and narration is in English at launch. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when Heady opens.
Channel Farm
Good for: long faceless YouTube videos from a tool that is open today.
Channel Farm makes long-form videos of up to 10, 15 or 20 minutes depending on the plan, and 9:16 short-form on every plan. Its homepage describes the flow as "AI drafts the script · you review", with a "Final 1440p video, ready to upload". Every plan lists a consistent character, voices you can create or clone, and a full video editor. On 2026-10-29 its listed prices were $61, $124, $311 and $874 a month, for about 6, 15, 40 and 120 videos a month; that day they carried a 20% discount ending 31 October 2026.
Watch for: "There is no free trial." Chapters are not mentioned on its pages. Unused credits carry over, capped at about one period's worth. See Heady vs Channel Farm for a side-by-side.
LongStories
Good for: animated stories with a recurring cast.
LongStories makes "long AI video stories and music videos up to 15 minutes with consistent characters and styles". Its Universes give a series "A world with its own look, places and cast", so characters carry over from one video to the next, and its editor lets you "Change one shot, not the whole video". It can upload to YouTube or schedule the upload. Plans run from $59 a month (Pro, 4,500 credits, videos up to 10 minutes) to $499 (Studio Max); videos of up to 15 minutes start on Creator Max at $199. Annual billing lowers the monthly price, to $44.25 on Pro. Unused credits roll over to the next month.
Watch for: its pricing page says "A 1-minute Pro video costs 714 credits at 480p and 1,374 credits at 1080p", so check how many minutes a plan really gives you at the resolution you want. You can create characters and scripts with 200 free credits, but "Generating a video needs a paid plan". Chapters are not mentioned on its pages.
AutoShorts.ai
Good for: a short-form series that posts on a schedule.
AutoShorts.ai makes short faceless videos and posts them for you on a schedule. Its free plan makes one video, with "No credit card required", and paid plans are sized by how often you post: Starter at $19 a month (three videos a week), Daily at $39 (one a day) and Hardcore at $69 (two a day). Automatic posting is on the paid plans.
Watch for: it is short-form first. Its FAQ asks about long-form videos without a clear answer on the day we checked, so do not count on it for 8-minute-plus YouTube videos. Whatever you post daily, YouTube's policy on repetitive, mass-produced content applies to every video, so make sure each one says something new.
faceless.so
Good for: daily posting across many platforms, with a long-form option.
faceless.so's homepage promises "Your faceless channel, posted daily." It offers 28 niches, Shorts of about a minute in a storyboard style or 30 seconds with motion, and posts automatically to YouTube and six other platforms. Its scripts draw on live sources such as Google Trends, Wikipedia and Reddit. It also makes long-form videos: its pricing page says "A 10 minute long-form video in the Stickman style costs about 442 credits." Plans start at $24 a month billed monthly, with 500 credits, and run to $1,990 a year for 8,000 credits a month.
Watch for: at about 442 credits per 10-minute Stickman video, the 500-credit Starter plan makes roughly one long video a month. Maximum length and chapters are not stated on its pages. A free trial was not mentioned on the pricing page.
Revid.ai
Good for: short-form creators who also want 16:9.
Revid.ai calls itself the place "Where short-form creators grow". It makes 9:16 and 16:9 videos and publishes directly to YouTube and three other platforms. The Growth plan is $39 a month ($32 a month billed yearly) with 2,000 credits, which it says is about 25 to 50 videos; Ultra is $199 ($166 yearly) with 12,000 credits, and higher tiers go up to $2,799. You get free credits to try it, and boost packs never expire.
Watch for: "Plan credits refill… they do not stack month to month", so unused plan credits are lost at renewal. It is built around short-form; check the longest video your plan allows before you plan a long-form channel on it.
Pictory
Good for: long stock-footage videos with simple, minute-based plans.
Pictory matches your script to licensed stock footage from Storyblocks and Getty Images, with ElevenLabs voices. Paid plans make videos of up to 30 minutes in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, and plans are counted in video minutes: $29, $59 or $199 a month billed monthly for 30, 90 or 300 minutes. The 14-day trial includes 300 credits (about 10 minutes) and exports at 720p.
Watch for: Pictory assembles stock footage rather than generating visuals, so channels on the same topic can end up with similar clips. Narration languages depend on the plan: 7 on Starter, 29 on Professional and Teams. See Heady vs Pictory.
