Long video questions

How long can a long video be?

From 8 to 30 minutes, in 16:9 at 1080p. Long videos come with the Pro and Studio plans.

How long does a 15-minute video take to make?

Drafting the script takes minutes, and you review it for as long as you like. The render is then split into two-minute pieces that run side by side, so a long video does not wait on one long render.

Can I use my own clips?

Not yet. Uploading your own MP4, such as a motion-graphics export or a screen recording, for a beat of the script is coming soon. Until then every beat is a drawn scene or a Motion scene.

Do I get the chapter timestamps for YouTube?

Yes. With each video you get the list of chapters with their start times in the format YouTube reads from a description.
