The short version

Heady uses only the cookies and similar storage that the site needs to work: to keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, and protect the service against attacks. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or analytics that follow you across sites. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent and there is no cookie banner.

We may also store small settings in your browser's local storage, such as your preferred theme, so the site looks the way you left it. They never leave your device and are not used to track you [PLACEHOLDER: list any such keys].

Payments

Checkout runs on Stripe's own pages, not on heady.video. Stripe, as merchant of record, may set its own cookies there for payment processing and fraud prevention. Those are governed by Stripe's cookie and privacy policies [PLACEHOLDER: link them].

Embedded content

[PLACEHOLDER: if the site embeds YouTube or other third-party players, describe the click-to-load behaviour and that no third-party content loads before you click. Remove this section if there are no embeds.]

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in.

If this changes

If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before they are set.
