Higgsfield offers two products for faceless video. Faceless Studio makes YouTube episodes of up to 5 minutes, horizontal or vertical, in a choice of visual styles. Content Factory makes vertical Shorts-style series from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, with more than 50 presets. Heady makes narrated YouTube videos too, with a different focus: long-form videos of 8–30 minutes with chapters, plus 9:16 Shorts, in one consistent illustrated world and without a video model.

The core difference

Higgsfield is built around styles and channels. Faceless Studio offers 12 styles, from Editorial Motion Graphics and Stickman Cartoon to Paper Diorama and Watercolor Chronicle. A channel saves its style, voice and characters, so the next episode starts where the last one left off. Content Factory adds 50+ presets and custom presets built from links to formats you want to repeat. Both are reachable beyond Higgsfield's own app: the original skill is available through Supercomputer and through Higgsfield MCP in Claude and ChatGPT.

Heady is built around the long video. You edit any line of a script drafted in chapters, approve it, and get a 16:9 video of 8–30 minutes with chapter cards, lower-thirds, a progress bar, and the YouTube chapter timestamps, SRT file and description ready to paste. Every frame is an edit of the first, so the world stays the same for the whole video. Motion comes from depth parallax and smooth transitions; Motion mode builds charts, timelines and titles as code.

Choose Higgsfield if

  • You want a wide choice of looks. 12 styles in Faceless Studio and 50+ presets in Content Factory, plus custom presets from reference links.
  • You run a series with recurring characters. Higgsfield saves style, voice and characters per channel.
  • You work from Claude or ChatGPT. Higgsfield's skill is available through Higgsfield MCP in both. Heady is a hosted web app.
  • You want to fix narration line by line. In the Claude and Supercomputer workflows, each voiceover line is generated separately and can be regenerated without redoing the rest.
  • Your episodes are 5 minutes or shorter.

Choose Heady if

  • Your videos run 8 minutes or longer. Faceless Studio episodes go up to 5 minutes; Heady's long-form videos run 8–30 minutes, and mid-roll ads on YouTube need 8 minutes or more on monetized videos (YouTube Help).
  • You want chapters built in: chapter cards on screen, a chapter progress bar and timestamps for the description.
  • Cost per minute matters at long lengths. Higgsfield's own example prices Faceless Studio at 246 credits per minute, $12.30, so a 5-minute episode is 1,230 credits or $61.50. Heady charges 1 credit per finished minute; see pricing for what a credit costs.
  • You want exact text and numbers on screen. Motion mode renders them as code.
  • You want to approve the script before anything is made.

Higgsfield bases the Content Factory dollar figures on its Plus plan at $49 a month for 1,000 credits, about $0.05 per credit. A third-party pricing guide reports that monthly-plan credits expire 30 days after they are granted, while annual and one-time pack credits last a year (krater.ai); confirm on Higgsfield's own pricing page.

Heady: 1 credit is 1 finished minute, for long-form and Shorts. Plans are on the pricing page.

What to check before you decide

  • Whether your channel needs recurring characters across episodes. If so, test Higgsfield's channel memory.
  • How long your typical video is. For episodes under 5 minutes, both tools fit. For 8 minutes and more, Heady is built for it; if you prefer Higgsfield, check the maximum length of the workflow you would use.
  • Which workflow you prefer: an agent in Claude or ChatGPT, or a web app with a script you approve.
